Monster Illusion

Just have a look at the following illussion.  It is found  in virtually every psychology textbook in the world, the two monsters in this optical illusion are in fact the same size. Your brain automatically adjusts images that it perceives to be distant in order to compensate for the fact that they are larger than they seem.

What do you see in the picture below.  If you observe carefully,  you can see a skull which emerged out from the earth splattered with leaves shed during autumn.

What do you see in the picture below.  If you look at the shadow of this beautiful woman falling on the grass, you can see an illusion of a ghost picture in the shadow.

Look at the floor of this shop.  You will get scared with the weird design.




4. Scary Cat
Look at the cat in the following picture.  The black cat with her one eye flashing due to reflections looks frightened.

Size Illusions

The images in Size Illusions are the ones where most of the people can not compare the size of 2 objects correctly...  You can use a ruler to check how your own eyes deceive you in the illusions.  Take a ruler and start measuring...

1. Shepard Tables :

The table tops on the following illusion are really identical in shape and size!!!  You may think that the table top on left side is larger...  but both the table tops are of same size.

The lower figure appears larger, however, both figures are identical.
